Services Process and Posting Requirements
To add a service to the Choctaw Nation website, the following information is needed when a work order is requested. All written content will need to be provided in the Services Template (Word Doc).
Required Fields
- Service or Program Title
- Brief Description of Service – Preferably a sentence under 300 characters. This description will also be used on the Programs and Services webpage and needs to be concise.
- Do not repeat program or service name
- Avoid writing in first or second person
- Eligibility Requirements – Preferably in a bulleted list
- How to Apply – Include application period (opening and closing dates), as well as information on how to return/submit the application (mail, fax, email or online).
- Contact Information
- Provide phone and/or fax numbers, external website (if exists), contact form (would be a link).
- Do not include any individual associate email addresses (for page display); individual associate email addresses can be used as contact form submissions recipients
- Include which facility/facilities a program/service resides
- Service Area(s) – List areas where provided service is available (such as open to all tribal members, within reservation, or specific communities)
- Location(s) – A location is needed to be added to the CNO website
- Categories – Options include:
- children
- COVID-19 relief
- education
- elders
- family
- finance
- health
- heritage
- hunting and fishing
- housing
- legal
- member services
- natural resources
- tribal enrollment
- veterans
Optional Fields
- Additional Information – Include any additional information needed and avoid writing in first and second person.
- Downloadable Forms or Documents/Fillable Forms/Related Materials/Videos – Please provide links to any related assets (currently on the website) or share assets
Process
- New or updated Services are requested via Workfront by a Relationship Manager
- In the Workfront Request, under “Website” select “CNO” as the “Website Location”
- Under “Website Post Options” select “CNO Services Website” and complete the required fields
- Use the Services Template (Word Doc) to provide all the needed details of the Service. Upon completion, upload it to the “Documents” in the Workfront Request.
- Once the Workfront Request is converted to a project the following steps take place:
- The Web and Digital Director will vet the provided information found in the Services Template (Word Doc) to ensure the terminology and format matches the additional 200+ services found on the CNO website.
- The vetted content is then shared with the Content Team to proof.
- If Service includes a Hero Image (
1296x729px); a Creative Services Designer will provide in the WorkFront project’s “FINAL” folder. - Final copy is also shared with the Web and Digital Content Team to create the Service webpage.
- A Web and Digital Team Internal Review process occurs with the Web and Digital Director.
- Upon approval, the Service is published to the CNO website.
