Together We’re More: Classic Posts
With the advent of the new theme (version 2.1), the Together We’re More site now supports the block editor! However, in the interest of backwards compatibility, here’s how the old ACF fields would work, and how to enable them.
Heads up! Past profiles weren’t migrated on theme launch (click to learn more)
When the new version of the theme was launched, the site already had 30 posts published. In order to maintain simple backwards compatibility, the code still renders the old ACF fields, even if they aren’t visible at first.
Enabling the Classic View
When a new profile is created (or if you need to edit a past profile that hasn’t been converted yet), the Block editor appears and it’s empty. To switch to the old version, open the sidebar and switch the post template from “Default” to “TWM Classic.”
Note: You may need to toggle the Sidebar’s visibility

Once you do this, save the post, refresh your browser, et voilà, the classic ACF look is back!
The Content Sections
The “Article” repeater + flexible content sections power the story. Here’s a breakdown of what’s going on.

- Media + Text: This block has a number of controls that make it supremely flexible:
- Text Type: Toggles text as long-form content or short pull quote
- Media Type: Toggles the media as video or photo, each with its own set of subsettings
- Media Position: Sets the media to either the left or right. This only affects the desktop view.
- Full Width Media + Text: This is the same as the Media + Text block, but the media is displayed at full-width instead of within the confines of the article body.
- Diamond Separator: This has a few controls—full-width, or moveable with Left, Right and Center as available positions
- Block Quote: This block creates a block quote that takes up 100% of the article width. It can be used with or without its background image.
- Slider: Creates the 5-element slider image. Each slide has its own controls, and there can only be one of these on a page.
- Gallery: Creates a simple image gallery
