Managing the Labor Day Site

This post is currently a work in progress.

The Labor Day site has a few quirks, so here’s a breakdown of what controls what:

Global Date Setting

Since Labor Day moves around, there’s a new field for setting the dates.

These fields are what the Events archive check against to set the appropriate time banner, and it’s also what powers the homepage countdown.

Registrations Pages

Registration pages are children of the Registrations page. Each page should use the “Registrations Page” template to enable the correct content boxes.

On the home page

There is a special checkbox on the home page to allow these registrations pages to appear. The pages must be published for it to work, and once there is a published page (and the checkbox is checked), the pages will appear as a slider on the home page.
