Destinations Posting Requirements
To add a Destinations (Blog) post to the Choctaw Country website, the following information and assets are needed within the Workfront project’s “FINAL” folder.
Required Fields
- Post Title – a condensed title is needed; a maximum of 52 characters is allowed.
- Publish Date – an intended date to publish
- Excerpt – A brief description (clickbait) to intice website users to read the post; a maximum of 69 characters is allowed.
- Article Body – provide final copy in a Word document
- Article Links – If referenced links/listings exist on the Choctaw Country website; preference is to link to internal pages instead of external websites.
- Tags – a nearby city in the reservation to auto populate things to go, restaurants and places to stay.
Required Image
An image is required for a post to be added to the website.
Hero Image – 1296x729px/72ppi image (JPG format) or graphic (PNG format) that does not include any overlay text.
Optional Items
- End Date – For any content not considered “evergreen” an end date is recommended for scheduled removal.
- Additional Images – can be the same size as the required hero image
- Photo Credit(s) – if a credit is available it’s recommended to add to the post
- Photo Caption(s) – if captions are available this can assist the reader with additional information.
