Cultural Center Event Posting Requirements

To add an event to the Cultural Center website, the following information is needed when a work order is requested. This can be found under the “Project Details” section.

Required Fields (all fields are public-facing)

  1. Event Title
  2. Event Brief Description – a brief description a sentence or two in length (please do not repeat event title, event date(s), event times, or event location in this description).
  3. Hero Image – 1296x729px/72ppi image or graphic that does not include any overlay text.
    • Images must be renamed and follow this format, i.e. “frybread-workshop.jpg”
    • Image file names should not include spaces, special characters, or capitalization.
  4. Event Description – a longer description to provide more details about an event, such as how to register or additional information. (please do not include event title, event date(s), event times, or event location within this description).
  5. Event Category(ies) – please include at least one of the following categories:
    •  Workshops
    •  Events
    •  Curator Talk
    •  Stickball
    •  Movies
    •  Volunteer Opportunities
    •  Closures
  6. Event Date(s) – a start date is required; if it’s a multiple day event please include an end date.
  7. Event Time(s) – a start time is required; if it’s a multiple day event an end time is required.
  8. Event Ticketing Link – provide the event link for registration.
  9. Free Event – if event is free, please ensure the button is clicked.

Additional Information

  • The Yoast at the bottom does not have to be filled out, the above content box “brief description” should auto-populate.
  • If a workshop or event has expired and/or drafted, please reuse the event for upcoming events.
